Country & Language Separation

EcoOnline now enables multiple languages for SDSs in any country or market that we support. These changes affect many pages and flows, however, they should not affect the way you interact with our tools.

More than meets the eye

  • New Country column that can be shown in applicable lists in the application.
  • New facet filter for Country in applicable lists in the application.
  • New Country selection in applicable forms in the application.
  • The introduction of global Smartform templates. Example: Client can create country specific templates in English and/or the client can maintain one global template in English that can be used by all countries.
  • Reports and Analytics Global filter for Standard Dashboards.
  • All UI languages available for clients in the application (this only affects the application languages, SDSs are still licensed and available only for the Countries you are licensed to).
  • Option to create and/or use SDSs in any language for the countries in which the client is licensed. Example: The Client can create or use SDSs that are created for Finland in Swedish.

Note: SDSs that have a different country from languages will not be available in Legacy Applications.

Country and Language Separation is available in Chemical Manager, Reseller, and EcoPlus products.

This is about helping customers to protect their people and the environment.

What is different – what are the benefits?

•In Chemical Manager, Language is now separated from Country. This enables several usability improvements.

•New form design on i.e. SDS request and update request

•Improved QR and Read link management

•Licences are no longer connected to languages – Country is the new licenced item

•New facets, filters and form fields throughout Chemical Manager.

•Better code = less maintenance and issues for Chemical Manager users.
