Improvements to SDS Management

Transfer internal information from one SDS to another SDS & the possibility to find SDS for products no longer sold but still used

  • Need to transfer product data (internal number, risk assessments, amount registrations...) to another SDS.
  • Used SDS is expired but product still sold.
  • The same chemical bought from another supplier with another SDS.

  • Don't need to archive the current SDS and add all info again for replacement SDS
  • No lost risk assessment versions
  • Neat and tidy inventory with less unnecessary duplicates

Improvements

  • Initiate from the current SDS, not from the replace product
  • Select what locations to include in the replace
  • All information can be transferred

Search for expired SDS

Customer Challenges

  • Products no longer found on the market may have an SDS set as "Expired" to indicate that it will never again be updated. Still a valid document for the customer.
  • Needed to use Legacy CM to find this feature.
  • New customers often have at least some expired documents that needs to be added. Our Services team forced to use Legacy CM for buildups
