This release introduces support for Two-Phase Approvals on risk assessments. This new feature allows companies to configure Chemical Manager through Company Settings to force all new risk assessments go through an approval loop before they are published.
Once the feature has been enabled, Read/Write users are still able to create risk assessments. When they are creating an assessment they will now see the option to “Save and Request approval” rather than “Save and publish”.

This will send an email to approvers. These are any user with an Administrator or System Administrator in the locations the assessment is being created in.
When processing the risk assessment approval, the approver is given the option to Approve, Reject and Archive or Reject and Delete. They are also able to request changes which are then sent back to the creator so that they can re-submit an updated version of the assessment.
