New look Read-Only relationship fields
In line with our recent efforts to standardise the fields and components within Info Exchange, we are making a change to the way our read-only relationship fields are displayed.
This will bring them in line with the look and feel of relationship fields elsewhere in the system and across EcoOnline.
There is no change to the functionality, however as the field will look a bit different, we are keen that Exchange admins are armed with pre-warning so that users can be kept informed.
Read-only relationship fields are used where a relationship or lookup is pre-defined in the form that a user is accessing, i.e. where we do not want a user accidentally changing the parent record because we have this context already. Examples of this may be, where a record has been created via data rule, where a user is accessing a child remote form, or where a user has clicked a “create new” button within an existing parent record.
This new look will be released at Monday 13th July from 5pm.
Over the rest of Q3, we will continue to release additional components, e.g. new lookup component which allows more than 1000 options, new period selection object, new multi-select lookup, new time and date selection field (time, date and time and date).
Fix to address numbering on bar/stacked charts in reports
During week commencing 6th July, we are also addressing user feedback regarding how numbers are showing on graphs with a fix to make it more easily interpretable.
Currently, numbers shown on bar graphs and stacked graphs are shown above the segment that they relate to, sometimes above the next segment, causing some confusion.
The fix moves the number to be positioned within the segment that it relates to, in line with standard graph formatting.
