Upcoming Release Notice for Info Exchange

This year, we’re keen to make a number of improvements to the look and feel of Info Exchange. On w/c 8th April, we are releasing some changes that will affect users.

Updated Icon for Version Control

  • We’re responding to feedback that the old version control tools could be confusing for new users

  • Old chevron is replaced with a clock with an anti-clockwise arrow

  • Note – this is only visible if version control is switched on for a given table

  • Hot fix to be released 5pm on 10th April will include a tooltip to offer further information for the user

Additional Listings View Updates

  • Clearer listings view - Previous feedback indicated that it could be hard to distinguish between columns in the listings view. Introducing lines between columns to aid the user

  • Hot fix to be released 5pm on 10th April to address padding issue for Reference number columns and allow full Reference number to be visible

  • Initial column for record actions (read/edit icons and version control icons)

Offline Form V2 Enhancements

Toggle between expanded and compact mode to select the right view for your usage.

  • Expanded view includes wrapped text but takes up more space on the page
  • Compact view allows you to see more records in one page by condensing the text

Ability to re-open workflow

  • Configuration option – please speak to your Config Specialist for more information
  • Optional ability for users to reset a given workflow step
  • Assignment rules can be configured so that only certain users/user groups can “reset” a step
  • Can be reset as many times as required
  • Workflow action history to keep track of if/when a step has been reset with key information tracked

Updated Discussion Forum field design

  • Defaults to load 10 entries at a time – improved loading and performance as a result
  • New “Show all” button
  • More user friendly and intuitive option to “Subscribe” to updates
