Assessment Archive Enhancements
Improved assessment auditing, communication and reporting.
To better protect users from using an assessment that has been archived due to an internal business decision, it is now possible to provide a reason why an assessment has been archived. Providing a reason for archiving the assessment is optional.
If any reason has been given for an assessment being archived, then the assessment will display that reason when viewed in the user interface.
When printing an assessment, it is now more obvious to the reader that the assessment is archived and is therefore not subject to the assessment review process to ensure the assessment is still valid and up to date.
To improve reporting, all assessment based reports being exported to Excel have been extended to show the assessment status, reason, time and archiving user if the assessment is currently marked as Archived.
Note that the assessment filter must be set to include archived assessments to include them in the report.
When an assessment is unarchived, its previous archive reason remains recorded against the archive event to support the assessment’s audit trail. However, the archive reason is no longer displayed when viewing or printing the assessment.
If the assessment is archived automatically as the result of some other event in CMS, then the archive reason will be automatically generated as detailed in the following table.
