Configuring Risk Displayed
Configure whether uncontrolled risk is displayed on printed assessments.
It is understood that, for some organisations, it is not desirable to print uncontrolled risk levels as they will not apply if the user is following the assessment’s controls properly.
While the default for Sypol continues to print uncontrolled risk, both for new and existing subscribers, subscribers can now configure Sypol so that uncontrolled risk is never printed for any of their users and any of their assessments.
Printing uncontrolled risk can be configured using the manager account, by setting the Print uncontrolled risk? question in Subscription Options appropriately.

By setting the value to Yes, uncontrolled risk will continue to appear on printed risk assessments.
Setting the value to No, will prevent uncontrolled risk being printed in the assessment. The user interface will continue to display uncontrolled risk, however. This setting is applied to all users and
Please note that EcoOnline believes that best practice is for uncontrolled risk to be displayed so that anyone carrying out the task is fully aware of the importance of putting the controls in place. Therefore, the default configuration of Sypol will continue to print uncontrolled risk.
Any subscriber changing this setting so that uncontrolled risk is no longer printed does so accepting responsibility for any consequences that action may have.
