New Sypol Interface
A new version of the Sypol user interface is now available.
Aligning our design system across the EcoOnline Product Portfolio
Only the style of the user interface has changed in the new version.
The layout out of each page and how activities are carried out have not changed. Therefore, despite the change in appearance, existing users should be immediately comfortable using the new user interface.
The hazard symbols and pictograms for controls have not changed. Printed assessments have not changed, either.
Both the previous and new versions of the user interface will be available to all users until 30th September 2024. After this date, the previous version will be disabled and all users will be forced to use the new version.
New Login Screen
The login screen has now changed for all users. However, the values required to successfully authenticate have not changed. These remain Company ID, username and password.
Changing to the New User Interface
All existing users are still configured to use the previous user interface version. This can be changed to the new version using the toggle switch at the top right of the Sypol window.
Users are free to change between the previous and new versions as often as they like. After each change, the user will be asked to logout to apply the changes.
Setting the User Interface Option at Subscriber Level
Managers are able to set the user interface option globally across all of their users through the manager account.
If the User Interface Style is set to User Defined, then each user will be allowed to specify their own interface style preference. Otherwise, users will be forced to the option set by their manager and will not be presented with the option to change it.
