Sustainability management
Our board of directors endorses the overall ESG strategy and approves significant commitments, such as the Science-Based Target initiative.
The Head of ESG & Sustainability leads the environmental management, driving initiatives forward, and delivering intended outcomes. Regular updates on environmental management progress are provided to the board and the Group Management Team (GMT) to facilitate oversight and support decision-making on strategies and risks.
We have performed a materiality analysis to determine external and internal issues relevant to our purpose and affect our ability to achieve the intended outcomes of our environmental management system. This analysis is scheduled to be reviewed in 2023.
Results and conclusions from EcoOnline's materiality assessment 2022
In February 2022 we analyzed EcoOnline's business model, risks, ambitions, and market trends to identify essential environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics. Through a materiality analysis in 2022, we prioritized the most crucial material issues, considering stakeholders' perspectives through interviews and surveys conducted with customers, potential customers, investors, and employees. Through these insights we have shaped EcoOnline's ESG strategy and formed the basis of our sustainability reporting aligned with the GRI Standards (Global Reporting Initiative).
